Roni Golan recently completed his PhD in Urban Planning at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology’s Center for Urban and Regional Studies and is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nazarian Center. His research interests include real estate economics, real estate finance, urban economics and housing affordability.
Golan has co-authored two articles, including “Real Estate and Personality” in the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics and “Anchoring under Currency Substitution: A Ratchet Price Mechanism in the Housing Market” in Real Estate Economics.
The Nazarian Center Postdoctoral Fellow has several years of teaching experience at the Israel Institute of Technology and also worked as a structural engineer at the Israel Electrical Corporation’s Department of Civil Design for Power Plants.
Prior to completing his PhD, Golan earned his MSc in Urban Planning (cum laude) and BSc in Structural Engineering (cum ladue) from Technion in 2011 and 2009 respectively.
