NHLRC

The NHLRC is a federally funded language resource center whose mission is to develop effective pedagogical approaches to teaching heritage language learners, both by creating a research base and by persuing curriculum design, materials development, and teacher education.

Russian Flagship Program

The Russian Flagship is a unique, federally funded, language program that is designed to enable UCLA students of any major to achieve professional-level competence in Russian at the undergraduate level. Flagship students also have the opportunity to study abroad for a summer and an academic year, and also engage in internship opportunities.

Russian Proficiency Exam

The Center for World Languages offers a Russian proficiency test for Los Angeles County high school students that is accepted by most Southern California high schools.

Ukrainian Proficiency Exam

The Center for World Languages offers a Ukrainian proficiency test for Los Angeles County high school students that is accepted by most Southern California high schools.
