This summer our High School Language Program for heritage speakers will once again be held at UCLA. We will offer Korean for the first time, in addition to Armenian, Persian, and Russian. Our courses are carefully designed for students that understand, speak, or hear these languages at home and would like to expand their abilities to speak, listen, read, and write. Students will build comprehensive language skills and develop an appreciation for their bilingual heritage through classroom immersion courses that integrate technology and authentic materials. These resources create an active and exciting learning experience that motivate and provide real-life language experiences. The High School Language Program offers a fun and challenging opportunity for students to study their home language and meet other Los Angeles-area heritage speakers.
